salam alikoum brothers and sisters,
my question has two parts,
the first one is: is it permissible to issue the zakat if the money has not been with you for the complete year, let say, 10 months. my aim is to make ramadan as a reference for zakat.
the second part: someone asked me to lend him money to get married, i am not going to say that this man is poor, but he is really in need to do so. the question is can i give him my zakat instead of lending him money.
any help would be appreciated.
