Is there any muslim sources about the hijra calendar. I seen it on wikipedia but the information is not good.
I know that Umar ra, established the calendar, and that they used to refer to certain events as reference. I know that he began the calander after hijra of the prophet PBUH. Then started recording the events that took place.
How was time referenced to certain events is what I am trying to think of.
