AssalamuAllaikum, the other day somebody asked me a question regarding evil eye which really made me think and unfortunately I couldn't answer that question. I was hoping that someone on here could inshaAllah answer that question.
The question was, can any body get evil eye or only a person that is showing off/being proud of something get evil eye. And if anybody can get it, why would Allah punish someone (even though they had the right intentions), that is like he is punishing someone for another person's uncontrollable jealousy. I know that Allah is the most just and that Islam is a rational and logical religion alhumdolillah,
so if somebody could provide me with a logical response to this question that'd be greatly appreciated. jazak Allah Khair.
