when i was searching for a hadeeth, google send me to this thread.
mashallah seems i have landed in a good spot.

i need a help. i read this thread and did not find the hadeeth i searhing is mentioned.

i need to no where this hadeeth is mentioned and the quolity of it.

The hadeeth summary is like this,

kafirs killed 77 (as i remember) hafils and after receiving the message of this, rasoolullah recited qunuth and the shabah behind him sad ameen.

The hadith you are specifying is as follows:

Ibn Abbas (ra) narrated: "Rasulullah (saw) made qonoot for an entire month during dhuhur, asr, maghrib, Isha'a, and the morning prayer (fajr) and when he said "Allah Hears those who praise Him" at the last ruka'a he (saw) would make dua'a against the ones alive from Bani Sulaym, Dhakwan, and Ussayya; and those behind him (i.e. praying) would say "Ameen".

The Isnad of this hadith is Jayyed (good)..and it was cited by:

Ahmad, Abu Dawood, and Al-Hakim

They got it from Thabit bin Yazid who got it from Hilal bin Khabab who got it from Ekrimah who got it from Ibn Abbas

I have a question brother that relavent to this hadeeth.

so except after this occation, rasoolullah never recited qunut an nazilla even though there were many clamitis he faced correct?
