The Moon was sighted for Beginning of Ramadan in Makkah.. and the prayers have started for the Qiyam in Makkah. Alhamdulilah.

May Allah give us all a good Ramadan, and remember to use the time wisely by reading and studying the Quran.

Would it be possible for Mods to post a sticky with Calendar for the month of Ramadan or if thats not possible (due to so many different places) link from where all the month's timings can be access?

Just a request. Thanks anyways.

Salam aleikoum,

Ramadan is the month in which was sent down the Quran, as
a guide to mankind, also clear Signs for guidance and
judgment Between right and wrong. So every one of you who
is present at his home during that month should spend it
in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the
prescribed period Should be made up by days later. Allah
Almighty intends every facility for you; The answer is
that Ramadan is the month during which the revelation of
the Quran began which shows all humanity the clear path
leading to its ultimate goal, revealing those permanent
values whereby one can distinguish truth from falsehood.
The discipline learned through fasting is an annual
training to remain in a state of preparedness for the
accomplishment of this lofty program.
-Quran Chapter 2 verse 185-

May Allah open for you doors of Jannah, ameen

May the Ramadan month let the people understand the heart of the Bible too that is
psalms 118:8 that teach all the world to trust only Allah and not the people :salah: to Him we belong to Him will return!
