Random Thoughts Walking on the beach.

Assalaam walaikum,

I have been blessed by family. We are 8 at this moment.

Nothing in life is as beautiful as family. I have 8 sets of towels. I have to wash 8 spoons, 8 forks, etc.

Lunch and dinner are one continuous clean up deal.

But, as I was walking on the beach with my mother, two hijabi's enjoying the beauty of the ocean on a warm misty morning, I could not help but giggle.

I have so much. I am in need of work and Insha'Allah will provide. I know that.

So, I walked on the beach with my mother. She is 80 and well, we all know I am a little on the other side of 30. I told her I do not know which one will be called Home the soonest, but I was so grateful ..we were able to walk on the beach in the morning, in hijab.

It's okay, I had a picture in my mind, actually, from the side or back so you couldn't see your faces, and in black and white... Random, but I had to share :D

Lovely post. Exudes an aura of being carefree and basking in simplicity. As a hijabi, I know that its rare to have those moments of feeling both carefree and enjoying simplicity in today's political climate. But once you experience those moments, you realize just how precious they are and how easily they are taken for granted before hardships settle in.

Enjoy your day at the beach, Aapa. You definitely deserve to.

Assalaam walaikum,

Yes, I do baby...yes I do...

For a couple of weeks I am going to leave the politics alone and enjoy my mama.

And it is glorious outside. Alhumdullila.
