Sisters with taqwa
"I'M UGLY" cried a woman to a Shaykh, complaining about her unattractive features and hideous appearance, which has unfortunately put her and many today in a state of depression. The Shaykh may Allaah preserve him replied;
"If you don’t have a share of beauty, then what did the non-Muslim woman who was deprived of Islaam do with her beauty while your Lord granted it (Islaam) to you?
Where is she now if she has passed on? And where will she be tomorrow if she died upon disbelief? Will her beauty be of benefit to her on the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of benefit, except those who come to Allaah with pure hearts?
Would you really be pleased with the alternative? That you be beautiful but non-Muslim and that she be ugly but Muslim?"
Islaam and upright character makes one beautiful. Let's not worry about these social pressures, for it will only take 3 days in the grave before one's "good looks" will deteriorate and decompose.
Make up is not the beauty secret of a woman
Because ....
Nothing would beautify her face more than shyness,
Nothing would make her face bright more than Taqwa,
Nothing would make her get people respect more than purity,
Nothing would raise her status more than chastity.
Beauty is not only found in a beautiful face...
But real beauty is found in the pure soul of a Muslimah.
You are all beautiful my sisters as long as your soul is devoted to اللَّهُ سبحانه وتعالي & we keep striving to follow da sunnah of our beloved Nabi SAW
