Request : Why Macca ??

salaam alaikum brother,
had Allah chosen london, we would have asked "why london, why not any other place?"
there are so many questions like why 24 hrs in a day, why 2 genders, why life on earth...etc etc...
but i heard that makkah is the center of the earth.
Allah knows best.

ALLAH says:
And when We made the House (at Mecca) a resort for mankind and sanctuary, (saying): Take as your place of worship the place where Abraham stood (to pray). And We imposed a duty upon Abraham and Ishmael, (saying): Purify My house for those who go around and those who meditate therein and those who bow down and prostrate themselves (in worship).(Al-Baqarah 2:125)

It is Allah's will which place he chooses for what purpose.

Dear Brother ahmed ,
i think that this answer not the true one.... because Islam as Belief always
use Logic to support any thing seems to be srange for us.....we can not take
it as it .......
i think that the choosen of Macca in this Certain time of History... has many
reasons.. During my search i find that Macca and Arab island in this time as
completely isolated from any other Cultures like Roman ans so on.......
So when islam comes no one can say that it affected my those cultures or its a result for this cultures.. its Realy pure one..
May be it still not clear but i still find it............

brother, you see...this too was Allah's Will to keep it makkah away from persian/roman cultures.
we cannot understand His Will completely.

Makah was chosen because the people of the region were most suitable to carry out the mission of Islam. If you see the history, they were the people who did best as they could to spread Islam.
Arabs were very enthusiastic and energetic people and they were the right choice and Allah knows best.
Unfortunately now they (Not all but some) have been indulged in all sorts of activities like many other Muslims around the world and have abandoned the true spirit of Islam.
But Islam's revival is on the horizon and May Allah guide us all and prepare us all to carry out the mission of Islam. Amen.

assalam alaikum ...the main (or all) reason Why knows only Allah SWT but we muslims can answer some of them
1.it is First Temple build in the worlld
2. geograficaly is the center of the world , and is not afected by Magnetic fields
3.it is birth place of Muhamad Ibn Abdullah SAWS ....and so on and so forth
