Jazaak Allah Khair on your idea and intention to help new Muslims. But remember brother you are excited right now to have the web site but you need to think about the points Sister Aisha wrote, beside these DUTIES of the poeple should start from the mosque not a web site, we have already islamicfinder which have the location of every mosque on there.

Beside, the people who want to teach the new comers Islam should have proper knowledge about Islam and its rulling and in my opinion the best place for it is the Mosque not out side the mosque, you can start a project where you can guide them to go to the nearset mosque and if some member happen to be in the same area they can meet them in the mosque but they need to learn Islam from some one who have the proper background in Islam not Islamic traditions or certain mazhab traditions.

May Allah reward you and guide us all.
