wa alaykum salam,

As for the Falklands, Argentina claims sovereignty based purely on proximity. The Falklands were never a part of Argentina. The majority of the people on the islands have asked to remain British subjects.

This is ironic because Argentina was formed over the dead bodies of its Patagonian indigenous tribes.

Assalaam walaikum,

It is simply strange that there is a need to fight over rocks. I have not read of Argentina wanting to war with the UK.
In terms of the New World I stopped counting the number of indigenous dead and the slaves, as well. And they are still wanting war.

The Malvina's has become a polictical pawn not because a few brits are living on the island or its proximity to argentina once again we see the ugly head of the fight for natural resources take shape, the malvina's has plenty and thats what the problem has become.

For what its worth i hope the argies get back what they lost during the first war.
