Salam Brother in Islam,
Yes that is right, the inmates of the hell fire will be greater in number than those of Jannah, in fact it is described as being only a handful in comparison with the amount of people entering hell.
Even though we are Muslims this should be a constant reminder to us to strive and do our best in this world. No one knows where they will end up. Allah knows best.
I make dua that Allah guides all the Muslimeen including myself to the straight path Inshallah Ameen.
