"Salam Alikum in the Bible"

I found this:

John 20:21
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

In Hebrew he had said' Shalom Alikom" I found it weird that it's in the Bible yet I never seen a single Christian useing it. Just thought id share that...

Shalom is how the Jews greet each other...

the Bible was intended for the Jews... Jesus came for the Jews at his time

I went to an episcopalian church for awhile and when we would break for the "peace" we would say "peace be with you."
so... same thing just in english.

Christians only use that when they are in Church...how sad!
