BTW - it means 'First Born' so great also if your first child. The meaning of a name and who it is named after is the most important thing though.

People from different country pronounce it as "Adaam". I informed my mother and brother that it ik to pronounce the name differently if they are from different countries, but they disagree with me. Please advise me who is correct

In France its Adam for muslims.

My wife is rom Czech Republic and there they pronounce it as "ADAAM"...Is this acceptable as my mother and brother do not agree with me.
