Asalamu alaykum Wa rahmatullahi Wa barakatu

I just wanted to ask which eduaction is important to you because it seems to me every time i have exams and secular education work i have no passion and energy to do it even though i enjoy some subjects and i am good at some i just dont find it important.....

But when i read about Islamic history wallahi i feel awake and i love this education because i feel its benefits straight away....But for women it hard to get an islamic education, theres a course i wanted to apply for an islamic course in a university but its in another city but i have no mahram to go with me i dont think i can go anyway because my mum only wants to see an secular education certificate from me and i dont think i can do everything she wants from me and i dont want to disappoint her.:shymuslima1:

Sorry this is long i just cant make a choice because my mum has made it for me :girl3:
I just wish and pray for Knowledge that benefits me inshallah...thanks for reading...

I know of like thousands of people who go through the same phase... Myself included. You're not alone. Patience is best sister, it's not easy but it's rewarding. Inshaa' Allaah, a time will come where seeking knowledge of the deen is easy for you.

I will bi'iidhnillaah. In the mean time, why don't you try to set your free time aside for reading/learning/memorising the Qur'aan, small books of hadeeth, short treatises and learning Arabic? Of course, you should accompany this with lessons from the scholars on these topics and books. By making the seeking of religious knowledge apart of your everyday life, perhaps Allaah will make it easy for you. Also, remember the saying of `Abdullaah Ibn Mas`ood, may Allaah be pleased with him, "Knowledge is not narrating much, it is fear (of Allaah)", and his saying, "Strive to become a scholar or a student or knowledge, and do not aspire to become other than that." The more we strive, the more we will get inshaa' Allaah, so I guess we just have to keep on working!

May Allaah make seeking knowledge and action easy upon us, ameen.

Kitaab at-Tawheed is a good book maa shaa' Allaah. Many of the `Ullemaa' suggest that you begin with smaller books like Usool Ath-Thalaathah or Al-Qawaa'id Al-Arba`ah. There's no harm in learning from Kitaab at-Tawheed too, but for the sake of a detailed study, the scholars say to begin with the smaller, easier books. Once you're familiar with the texts (of the aforementioned books), you can follow with the explanation of the shuyookh inshaa' Allaah. Shaykh Saleh as-Saleh has a complete online explanation of the book. He follows Ibn `Uthaymeen, his teacher's explanation, may Allaah have mercy on both of them.
