Problem Shark oil

I have a question that I would like to ask. Does anyone know whether shark oil is halal? People consume them in capsule form and it is also present in cosmetics. So is it halal? I searched through the internet but I got different responses. Please help

I've used cod liver oil. I've never heard it's not allowed. You should be careful about the capsule though. The gelatin used shouldn't be haram i.e made of pigs stuff.

Well shark oil is used in many things including medicine and cosmetics which is called squalene so I was thinking whether its halal or not.

i have same question too.. but i doubt that its halal sometimes.. u noticed the thin sheath that covers the oil? hmm i wonder what its made of
