Shaykh `Abdullaah ibn `Aqeel passes away

It is indeed sad to confirm that the `Allaamah sh. `Abdullaah ibn `Aqeel passed away. Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji`oon

The shaykh was one of the authorities of the Hanaabilah from our time and was from the last students of Shaykh al-Sa`dee rahimahullaah.

May Allaah make him from the Siddeeqoon and unite all of us with him in Jannatul Firdaus.

amiin.. brother. it is always a sad thing for this ummah to lose a scholar, it reminds me of of one of the most popular hadith about signs of end of times..

reported by al- bukhari, the prophet :saw2: said: "Allah will not take away knowledge from His servants, but knowledge will be taken away as the men of knowledge are taken away until there is not a single man of knowledge left. Then people will take ignorant men for their leaders who will be asked something and will give a fatwa (decision) without any knowledge. They will go astray and lead others astray."
