should I watch a movie?

:salam2:

I lost interest in tv a few years ago.
And it has been 2 years since I watched any movie.

Should I watch a movie?

or should I just keep my disgust of them?

well, movie takes you to listen to musics, or some romantic things, in which your heart starts melting towards saithan's way...
so , dont go astray, and do not watch a movie...do jihad, allah is surely with you...

Why would you want to go back to the ways of jahaliyaa once you have avoided it for 2 years ?

Disgust is good. Actually there is a problem, if there is no disgust in the heart of a muslim after he watches a movie (especially the ones they churn out nowadays) !..

Mashllah great job! Don't break the chain now! Movies are no good! You won't benefit anything from them!! They put thoughts in your mind and definately movies are not what they used to be with morals and such... So keep up the good work!!

its good bro that ur addiction is gone. keep it intact.

going back is dangerous as u might like the movie and then it becomes difficult for u to come back.

There is nothing great in going to a theatre. Everyone makes it into as if they have achieved somethng tremendous by watching this xyz so called amazing movie in the cinema.. It's nothing but a waste of time. Also, we already have so much fitnah in our lives.. the last thing we need is to pay $$ to watch something that cause fitnah for a good 2-3 hours !

Sometimes some people are like " Oh you are too extreme.. you have to go to a theatre.. dont be silly ! ".. It is like that they think that you are abnormal that you dont do things like all the rest of them.. If you probably went to a theatre, they would never even bother telling you that you are extreme or that its 'weird' that you haven't been there.

But Alhumdulillah..like bro ahmad_indian said.. Allah swt has saved from you from something and I view it as a great blessing that you have (be it either by luck or circumstances)..
