Muslim girls living in Christian / non-muslim countries may be faced with a number of problems and difficulties, such as:

Difficulty in wearing hijaab (Islamic dress code)

Difficulty in studying without having to mix with the opposite sex

Difficulty in getting married according to Islamic law

Difficulty in getting divorced according to Islamic law

Difficulty in receiving her financial rights, such as inheritance, according to Islamic law

Difficulty in finding Muslim friends who could help her adhere to her religion

Difficulty in finding halaal meat that has been slaughtered in accordance with Islamic law, or finding some foodstuffs, such as sweets etc., that are not mixed with alcohol or lard (pork fat)

Difficulty in doing some sports, such as swimming, in a place that is screened from the view of men

Difficulty and embarrassment in avoiding invitations to unsuitable parties such as Christian holidays and mixed wedding parties

These and many other challenges are faced by Muslim girls living in countries such as those referred to in the question, but they do not prevent a Muslim girl at all from making the effort and striving to follow her religion and heed its prohibitions. She will receive multiple rewards from Allaah for her efforts in the face of hardship and her patience. The bitterness of patience will ultimately be followed by the sweet joy which will make her forget the pain of hardship. Allaah is the One Whom we ask for help.

But Musmliah should be stronger

check if u Ideal Muslimah...or..

..Sisters ..

When Allaah, may He be exalted, and His Messenger :saw: (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) enjoin something, it is obligatory for the Muslim to say, “We hear and we obey,” and to hasten to carry out what has been enjoined upon him. This is what is required by faith in Allaah.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error”
[al-Ahzaab 33:36]

Shaykh ‘Abd al-Rahmaan al-Sa’di (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
It is not for a believer, man or woman means: it is not appropriate or befitting for the one who is described as a believer to do anything other than to hasten to please Allaah and His Messenger, and to flee from incurring the wrath of Allaah and His Messenger, and to obey their commands, and to avoid that which they have prohibited. It is not appropriate for a believing man or a believing woman when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter and enjoined it, that they should have any option in their decision. They do not have the choice of whether to do it or not, rather the believing man and the believing woman know that the Messenger is dearer to them then their own selves, so they should not let their own whims and desires form a barrier between them and obeying the command of Allaah and His Messenger.

And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error means, an obvious error, because he has forsaken the Straight Path which leads to the reward of Allaah, and has strayed to another path which leads to a painful torment. So Allaah mentions first the reason for not going against the command of Allaah and His Messenger, which is faith, then He mentions the deterrent for that, which is fear of going astray, which leads to punishment and humiliation. End quote.

Tafseer al-Sa’di, p. 612.

The Messenger :saw: (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us that the one who disobeys him is the one who does not want to enter Paradise! Al-Bukhaari (7280) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah :saw:(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “All of my ummah will enter Paradise except those who refuse.” They said: “O Messenger of Allaah, who would refuse?” He said: “Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise and whoever disobeys me has refused.”

asalaamu alaykm brother..... yes all these things are obsticles for sisters living in the west however we forget to mention these same difficulties are faced by brothers who wish to stay true to their faith!! We are to avoid all ther things that we simply go to the local store and see women dressed like prostitutes... pornografic scenes in movies.... you cannot sometimes buy foods that are halal.. so you simply pray over the food and ask forgiveness.... I recently have had financial problems due to my daughters illness and was looking for a second job but I was never considered for a position because I was dressed in hijab.... most people here fear us like we are carriers of some wierd plague.... I was needing recently to move and set an appointment to look at a house and the women when I knocked on her door refused to answer!! But what also you find in the west is a strength of character that you might not find anywhere else because we wrap ourselves in Islam and carry it with us wherever we go!!! We read and interpret the Quran for ourselves because often there is no one to guide us and Allah (swt) is our protector!!!! We are the essence of Islam because in adversity we still love our deen!!!! And follow it in free will!!!!

Salam Alaykum

Sister in islam..

First of all, Alhamduillah 4 blessing of islam.. we would like to congratulate ourselves for having been guided by Allaah to embrace Islam, the true and final religion. I ask Allaah to help us and you remain steadfast in adhering to it until we die.

I give you the glad tidings of the words that the Prophet :saw: (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to the Sahaabah: “There will come a time when patience is required of the one who adheres (to Islam), and he will have the reward of fifty of you.” They said, “Of them?” He said, “No, of you.”

(Narrated by Ibn Nasr; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilat al-Saheehah, 494)

The Prophet :saw: (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “You never give up anything out of fear of Allaah, but Allaah will give you something better than that.” (Narrated by Ahmad).

And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allaah, then He will suffice him.” [al-Talaaq 65:2-3]

And Allaah knows best.
