Steel Nail in Head is Better
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “It is better that a steel nail is driven into your head than for you to touch a woman who is not permissible for you.” [Tabrani]
It is not permissible to look at non-Mahram women due to the danger of creating Fitnah. It is also not permissible to touch a non-Mahram woman, because the danger of creating Fitnah is even greater.
Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) has informed us through His Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) that the harm of touching a non-Mahram is so great that it is better to have an iron nail driven into one’s head than touch one.
Remember that! Don’t shake hands or touch any part of a non-Mahram, casually or seriously. Keep your distance, so you don’t accidentally bump into one either.
