STORY — HOW TO WAKE UP FOR FAJR

My WIFE woke me up everyday, our entire marriage for Fajr. One weekend she was staying around her mothers to help with her younger sisters wedding preperations.

As I was working I could only make it on the day of the wedding. How would I wake up for Fajr I wondered. I have never woken up without her help.

Before she left she put the alarm clock in the bathroom and told me to keep the door open. When the alarm went off at fajr time, as the alarm clock was in the bathroom it echoed throughout the entire house,

so when I went to the bathroom to shut it off, I found myself standing in front of the sink. So next step for me was to do ablution! “The world and all things in it are precious, and the most precious thing in the world is a virtuous woman.” (Ahmad and Muslim)
