Assalamu alaykum,

You should do the same as if she was a woman in hijab. Whether she is Muslim, Christian, Jewish or any other religion, Islam teaches us to be respectful and kind.

When you are at work, or out and about e.g. in the market etc, it is normal to have to interact with the opposite gender. You have to be respectful and remember that she has as much right as you to be shopping, working or doing business etc.

The Prophet S said, “You (women) have been allowed to go out for your needs.” (sahih Bukhari)

She is someone's mother, sister or wife. Be courteous, polite and as Islam teaches, lower your gaze.

“Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts…”
[al-Noor 24:30]
