Imam Shafi said:
“Never has my stomach been satisfied in 16 years, because a full stomach fattens the body, hardens the heart, dulls the intellect, fosters sleep, and renders a man lazy in worship".this is probably why the Ummah is in the shape that it is - we endulge ourselves too much….
