The Aspects of Islam

Assalamu'alaykum,

The Aspects of Islam that I love are first this understanding of Allah as The Creator and Sustainer of the universe and that He is The Only One worthy of worship and to Whom we owe our submission.

2nd: Al Qur'aan. The Actual Speech of Allah.

3rd The Prophet Muhammad (Salla alayhu 'alayhi wa sallem).

4th Muslims and Muslimahs. (Sorry, I don't know how to pluralize the words in transliteration).

I feel so blessed to have been called by Allah out of Shirk and into This Eemaan of thought, emotion, speech and action. The realization that everything in my existence has been pre-decreed by Allah without nullifying my freewill.

I love the sense of family, respect, and understanding that I have for each of my Muslim brothers and sisters and that even though I am not perfect, I am accepted because of the realization that Allah has called me to His Path as He has you.

I love that we were given structure in the chaos of human existence. Not that the chaos exists outside of The Will of Allah, but rather that unlike all the attempts of man to define existence it all comes down to establishing a finite relationship to the finite existence of this life and an absolute relationship to The Only Absolute ,Allah.

And, I am thankful to those who have the proper understanding of Aqeeda sharing their knowledge and wisdom in places like Turn to Islam and The FIKS.

I could continue, but my reason for posting this thread is just to articulate how I feel about the reassurance that there is an Absolute Right and Wrong and as Muslims we are Believers on that Right Path in submission to the Only Ruler.

Whatever Allaah's law that He has ordered us to do, it is actually for our own good. If we disobey Allaah, it wont put any less to His Mighty Kingdom, but if we strive to obey Allaah, He will surely add more blessings to us. And yes, in today's crazy world, only the laws of Allaah can help to manage and arrange human's life in a beautiful way. Indeed Allaah doesn't need us, but it is us who needs Allaah.

As Islam is PERFECT in every matters for Islam is Syumul (suitable for anyone, anywhere and at anytime), it is always on us, whether we have fulfill our responsibilities with our best abilities while trying to struggle every single day with our own nafs (desires), the shaitaan and other obstacles around us.

Sometimes I question myself, what have I done/contribute for Islam of all my life living in this world? What have I let go for the sake of Allaah? Am I ready if it is my time to meet The Al-Mighty Lord? Have I call upon people to the truth and correct that of falsehood?

Well, it seems that I, we, still need to do a lot for our faith. Not just for our own self, but out of Love for Allaah, Prophet Muhammad :saw2: and to our brothers and sisters.

This goes to myself first before to others.

Muslims and Muslimahs. (Sorry, I don't know how to pluralize the words in transliteration).

The plural for Muslim is Muslimoon مسلمون and for Muslimah is Muslimaat مسلمات

Wallahua'lam.

Wassalam.

Assalamu'alayki,

Sister, thank you for your help and sharing. I not only learned the plural for each of us, but how to end my posts.

Wallahu'alam

Was salam

Alhamdulillah. All goodness comes from Allaah of course.

Wallahua'lam means Allaah knows best. Sometimes we may use it especially in matters where we think that we are unsure of. Or just by saying that indeed Allaah knows best in every matters.

Wassalam/ Waalaykummussalam can be used to end your posts. Just like how we always open our post/ greet someone with salam, it is also best to end with salam. Because we all know that salam is a form of dua'a to the others.

:)

May Allaah gives us the strengths to perform Amar Ma'kroof and Nahi Mungkaar. Aminn
