Allah is sufficient.
A disbeliever once said to a believer, ''Do you not say that nothing afflicts you except that which Allah has written upon you?'' The believer answered, ''Yes'' He said, Then throw yourself down from the peak of this mountain, and if Allah decrees safety for you, you will be saved.'' The believer said, ''Listen, indeed it is Allah Who tests His slaves and not the slave who test his Lord.''
