The faith of a believing woman

Assalaam walaikum,

So...I have to attend a halaka ( hope, I got the spelling right)...we were all given an assignment..bring an example from the Quran or an hadeeth..about sabr...everyone is ready except me...such is life...I shared on the spot..I thought we were to start when the halaka was to end...

A sister..spoke to us about her life. Two years ago. she was in a car accident. Her sister and niece were both killed. This sister broke her back, all her fingers, and parts of her legs. She was in rehabilitation for much of the time. With much dua she is well and working as a teacher.

Not an eye was dry when she recounted her story.

Through my tears I saw a happy woman. There was not one iota of bitterness. She told us that was one of her trials. She was not angry. She was content that she was where she is today.

I was humbled.

salam aleikum wa rahmatulahy wa barakatuh,

Dear sister, i sometimes think, when i stay in my bed, before i sleep..... that we all sooner or later will go thru the well of Joseph a.s. or in the fish of Yunus a.s......but alhamdullilah Allah swt does not burden anyone beyond what he can bear :tti_sister:
Inchallah to be strong.

May Allah guide us all, ameen

:salam2:

Asalamoalaikom wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,

Sobhan'Allah, reading sister Aisya's thread I see why we Muslims are different, what is it that we are blessed with. Your thread reminded me of it again. JazaakAllah khayraa.

Wa'alaikum salaam warahmatullaah!

Subhaanallah! The trials of this dunya are many.. May He grant us stronger faith, like our sister, so we can get through it and be able to still say 'Alhamdulillaah' afterwards...
