I heard something powerful from Dr. Zakir Naik yesterday. He said something along the lines of (it's hard to understand his Indian accent, but I'll try):

"It's our fault [talking about why there are so many terrorist groups using Islam]. The people of Palestine, after World War II, invited the Jews into their land. They said 'Come in brothers, for we have seen your pain and wish to help you'. Now, if I invite a stranger in my house, and he kicks me out of my house, and when I knock on the door of my house asking for my house back, he calls me a terrorist?".

Pretty powerful. The Palestinian people are suffering because of their mercy. May Allah be pleased with the Palestinians who fear Him and who truly follow His commandments (note: that doesn't mean EVERY Palestinian!).
