I begin with the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful. Peace and blessings be upon Muhammad Salallahu aleyhi wasalam
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (Salallahu aleyhi wasalam) said, "Every Muslim has 5 rights over another Muslim (i.e., he has to perform 5 duties regarding another Muslim):
1- to return the greetings,
2- to visit the sick,
3- to accompany funeral processions,
4- to accept an invitation
5- to respond to the sneezer [i.e., to say: 'yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah bestow His mercy on you)' when the sneezer praises Allah]" [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
commentary: the bond of fraternity among the Muslims has been further strengthened by the list in this Hadith about the rights of a Muslim to one another
