"ya" for nabbi , is this not shirk?

brother the shirk is big word.... u may Allah don'r forgive u about these word...

don't say about any muslim...he make shirk....and all muslim know ..

u misuderstand that words mean ....that is right meaning.....

shirk: polytheism, the sin of associating anything in worship with Allah. This is the only sin for which there will be no forgiveness: if a person dies as a mushrik, he is truly doomed.

Importance Of Tawheed And The Evil Result Of Neglecting It

and i know that....Shirk Is Not Limited to Idols And Includes Seeking Intercession Through Prophets, Angels, Jinns, and the Righteous

but u didn't Allowed to say about muslim that....

Finally:

The best advice we can give you is to fear Allaah, may He be exalted, and to seek knowledge from sound sources. Read Qur’aan a great deal and listen to it being read by those who read it well. Turn to Allaah with du’aa’, asking Him to set your affairs straight.

We ask Allaah to guide you to all that is good.

And Allaah is the Source of strength.

Assalamu Alaykum,

The Scholars of Islam who were upon Quran and authentic Sunnah are unanimous that it is not permissible to say Ya to anyone who has passed away. Ya means "Oh" in English

Those who say Ya Ali, Ya Muhammad, Ya Hussein, Ya Abdul Qadir al Jeelani etc... are making sin. . for they are calling upon the dead to aid them. Or they believe the dead can hear the living. Which goes against the Aqeedah(creed beliefs) of Muslims

We should only ask for help from Allah (subhana wa ta'aala) and not to any of the dead or living.

Ya is used in Two permissible situations:

when you are calling someone who is alive and near you, i.e. ya abu fulan, ya Mabsoot, ya sidi3ee come here.

And of course, when we ask God for help, so we use Ya in our prayers. Ya Allah. Oh Allah. Ya Rabb.... Oh Our Lord

So, indeed when Sami Yusuf says Ya Muhammad, or whatever he is saying incorrect statements. These sorts of things are used by some deviant sects.. and is not from true Islamic belief. At Same time, we do not label anyone or say anything bad against someone as it is not our position to do so.

Asking Help and Calling upon Other Than Allah is Shirk

Wasalam.

gazakum Allah khyran bother Mabsoot....

The Scholars of Islam who were upon Quran and authentic Sunnah are unanimous that it is not permissible to say Ya to anyone who has passed away. Ya means "Oh" in English

.
i know that....wa Allahi...

as Sufism

The Sufis worship others than Allaah
, such as Prophets and “awliya’” [“saints”], living or dead. They say, “Yaa Jeelaani”, “Yaa Rifaa’i” [calling on their awliya’], or “O Messenger of Allaah, help and save” or “O Messenger of Allaah, our dependence is on you”, etc.

But Allaah forbids us to call on anyone except Him in matters that are beyond the person's capabilities. If a person does this, Allaah will count him as a mushrik, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And invoke not, besides Allaah, any that will neither profit you, nor hurt you, but if (in case) you did so, you shall certainly be one of the zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers).” [Yoonus 10:106]

The Sufis believe that there are abdaal, aqtaab and awliya’ (kinds of “saints”) to whom Allaah has given the power to run the affairs of the universe. Allaah tells us about the mushrikeen (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say [O Muhammad]: ‘…And who disposes the affairs?’ They will say. ‘Allaah.’…” [Yoonus 10:31]

The mushrik Arabs knew more about Allaah than these Sufis!

The Sufis turn to other than Allaah when calamity strikes, but Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And if Allaah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things.” [al-An’aam 6:17]

The Sufis allow dancing, drums and musical instruments, and raising the voice when making dhikr, but Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“The believers are only those who, when Allaah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts…” [al-Anfaal 8:2]

Moreover, you see some of them making dhikr by only pronouncing the Name of Allaah, saying, “Allaah, Allaah, Allaah.” This is bid’ah and has no meaning in Islam. They even go to the extreme of saying, “Ah, ah” or “Hu, Hu.” The Sunnah is for the Muslim to remember his Lord in words that have a true meaning for which he will be rewarded, such as saying Subhaan Allaah wa Alhamdulillah wa Laa ilaaha illa Allaah wa Allaahu akbar, and so on.
