Im not sure what I believe. I am American and grew up in the Baptist or Christian denomination. It was not easy and I didnt like it. The one thing I liked was getting "baptized" and speaking in tongues. Sometimes when I do I hear myself saying arabic, aramac, and old hebrew words. Like Beautiful and Hosanna. Now that I am free from the idolotrous religion of Christianity I still read the Old Testament and am looking at that God. Then there is a part of me that wants to be a Muslim because of the Kind and gentle spirit of the people. I have let go of Christianity and its idol Jesus, but I am scared. Why do I speak in tongues and it is legitimate? Will reading the Old Testament help me to understand the Koran. Ive met bad people in each religion. Im just confused. Can I marry a muslim and speak tongues...or will he say I am crazy?
