As-salaam Aluakim.
I visit a few christian forums and they are currently talking of Muhammad pbuh, they sat that is some of his battles and such he raided caravans. One in particular was Battle of Badr.
How can this be? If they did steel and pillage it would be in direct contradiction to the message Allah SWT sent. Can you tell me what is the Battle of Badr and why do they say these things?

When the muslims left Makkah, because of the escalating violence against them they left behind most of there belongings. the rulers of Makkah took their belongings and sent it on caravan to be sold. these are the caravan that were so called raided. Please correct me if i'm wrong anyone. i am by no means expert
