Dear brothers and sisters, this is an Urgent Appeal from Masjid Sunnah in Heathrow. We are a small masjid that has been established for over eight years now, providing the local Muslims a place to pray the 5 daily prayers, Jummah, a daytime playgroup and weekend quran school for kids and many other important facilities for the local community.
We have been renting a semi detached house since 1999 and we have just been informed by the agent dealing with the purchase of this property, that unless we demonstrate we have funds to buy the property his client will put the property up for sale.
Our target is £370,000. We have currently raised £320,000
We need another £50K within 5 DAYS, to reach our target.
IF WE DO NOT HAVE THE FULL FUNDS BY THE 21ST NOV 2007, ALL THE LOCAL MUSLIMS WILL LOSE THIS PRECIOUS COMMUNITY ASSET THAT HAS BEEN A MUST IN AIDING THE YOUNG AND THE OLD AMONGST US TILL THIS DAY.
We need to place the deposit before exchange of contracts can take place, but as you can imagine we don't want to place a deposit knowing we dont have the FULL funds in place.
We ask you in this DESPERATE TIME to either donate, or if you are able to give the Masjid a loan, which will be paid back ASAP.
