The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said to Umar ibn al-Khattab (radi Allahu anhu): “The Shaytaan is certainly afraid of you, O Umar.” [Sunan at-Tirmidhi]
This hadith is a testimony to the superior Eeman of Umar (radi Allahu anhu).
This does not apply exclusively to Umar (radi Allahu anhu). When a person grows strong in his Islam, and faith becomes deeply entrenched in his heart, and he observes the limits set by Allah (subhana wa ta’ala), then the Shayateen become afraid of him.
