Visitors of Allah

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He who does Wudhu properly in his house, and then comes to the Masjid, is Allah’s visitor, and it is incumbent on the host that He honour His guest.” [Tabarani]

Once upon a time thee lived a pious man by the name of Ahmad in the city of Khurasan in Iran. One night a thief entered his house and began looking around for something. He searched for very long but could not find anything. Ahmad was awake and he watched the thief silently.

When the thief was about to leave empty handed Ahmad called out: “Oh young man! Take the bucket and fill it with water. Then perform Wudu and Salah. When something comes, I’ll give it to you. I don’t want you to leave my house empty handed.

When the thief heard this, he became afraid. Then he thought that since the owner of the house knows about me now, I might as well do as he says. If I refuse he might take me to the police. He took the bucket and filled it with water. Then he performed Wudu and Salaat.

A man came in the morning and gave Ahmad one hundred gold coins. Ahmad gave the coins to the thief and said, “Oh young man, take this. This is the payment of you one night’s Salah.”

After saying this he repented from all his wrong work and began worshipping Allah day and night.

Allahu 'Alam whether this story is true or not but still we have got something to learn from this Alhamdulillah !!
