Walking infront of someone during prayer

Many brothers and sisters don't know the sin of walking in front of a praying Muslim. Never do this, it is extremely rude and shows disrespect to Allah SWT and the one who's worshiping him.An exception to this rule is when they have placed a small object directly at the front of their prayer mats which allows people to pass in front of the mat. At some distance from the person who is praying, you can pass in front of them the Imam at the Mosque told me, that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said that, if one knew the grave sin of walking in front of a praying Muslim, he would wait 40 years before doing it. Brothers and sisters, for a quick reminder, for me, and the community, don't walk in front of a praying Muslim!

The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said,

“If someone passing in front of a person performing the prayer knew of the penalty for it, it would be better for him to wait for forty.” (Bukhari)

One of the narrators, Abu Nazar [ra] says that he did not know whether the prophet Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam said 40 days or 40 months or 40 years.
