What is The Real Hypocrisy?:astaghfirullah:
By Mohammad Rafique Etesame

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Three are the signs of a hypocrite: When he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is trusted, he betrays his trust."

This hadith reveals the three signs of a hypocrite; it means that if a Muslim commits such types of three acts, then he will be the hypocrite. It is to be noted here that hypocrites are of two categories i.e. hypocrites pertaining to faith or belief and hypocrites pertaining to actions. Hypocrites pertaining to faith were those who were found in the early age of Islam. They were disbelievers in real but they accepted Islam due to make themselves safe and to get the entire facilities given by Islamic State to its citizens.

They offered prayers, kept fasting and performed Hajj only to show themselves the Muslims. Abdullah bin Ubai was their chief.

And the hypocrites regarding the good or bad actions are those who are mentioned in this hadith. It means that if a faithful believer when he speaks, he lies, and when he makes a promise, he breaks it, and when he is trusted, he betrays his trust; then he is a hypocrite. May Allah Almighty protect us from these bad actions and give us “taufeeq” to act upon all the teachings of Islam.
