What to do?

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

I hope you all are in the best of health and imaan.

My younger sister is addicted to facebook.!!.

Even though she's good at studies and all and manages her time well but still i'm worried cause she uses it a lot.She chats with her classmates and i think it's a waste of time.

What should i do?

P.S: She doesn't give a damn to what i say.

I am not really experienced in this but, You can tell her what Allah(SWT) commands us to do. "Moderation" & Balanced path. You can tell her the negatives about the FB & Internet, how one thing leads to another. Remind her about what will save her on the Judgement Day. Well, don't completely forbid her from chatting, but ask her to reduce it & always keep a check on her progress.

Still she is not listening - Use the style most of Indian Mothers use - 2 Lagao kaan ke neeche LOL!! [2 slaps] (Jus Kidding! )

Assalam 'ALaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

It took me 3 years to decide whether I will use facebook or not. Later we asked Dr. Dahiri from Madina Islamic University and he told us that facebook is like a glass. If we drink water from it, then it is permissible and if we drink wine from it, then its not permissible.

Warn your sister about the dark side of facebook, and tell her to use it wisely.
