a lonely traveller
The Muslims are quiet, nothing do they say,
Whilst it is their brothers and sisters that are being taken away.
They come for them braking down doors at night instead of asking politely in the day,
And it is our brothers and sisters they're taking away.
Forced to kneel on the floor, pulled down the stairs, and dragged to streets by gunpoint no goodbyes nor salaams can they say.
These are our brothers and sister they keep taking away.
How longer than will we pretend not to see nor witness these wolves tear at the heart of our community which has become their prey?
It is our brothers and sister they are still taking away.
Begging and pleading to be free they do ask to stay,
But continue it is our brothers and sister they take away.
And when they come for you or me next- do you really think you'll be able to keep these blood thirsty hounds at bay?
Nay for it shall be us with no opposition next than they will certainly take away.
