Which of the favors can you deny.

Assalaam walaikum,

First I wish everyone in the US a safe holiday. Second, I wanted a sweet thread. I allowed myself to get sucked into some strange threads. Need a change.

We are given so many blessings in life...it would be nice to thank Allah subhana talla for some blessings.

Here are some of the favors I am very thankful.

Every Febuary, when the weather is bleak, icy and snowy and cold and just blah, I would take a day off work. The boys and I sit around in our jammies and eat junk food, watch movies, bake brownies, and just be lazy. If the pizza truck can get out we order pizza. This year we had 22 school days that were cancelled. Instead of one day of being lazy..Allah subhana talla gave me almost six weeks to be home with my sons. They are at an age where mommy is in the background. I will cherish those days for the rest of my life. And I got paid. Now how about that. Alhumdullila.

I would love to hear about some of the simple and delightful blessings my brothers and sisters can recall.

On beautiful weekends without a penny in my pocket...going to the park and watch them play and have fun. Not one penny can measure up to that! The happiness and joy you feel to be granted the opportunity to wake up and see another day and thank Allah you have life and your sweet blessings!
