I was browsing through the forums earlier and I saw you had replied to a video post made by brother justoneofmillion. Although you didn't say specifically what you are talking about, I have never been one to beat around the bush and I can only imagine that you are talking about that video and justoneofmillion's comments on it. You said you are an american muslim and you take offense to what justoneofmillion said. I would agree that some of what he said was a bit harsh, but some of his feelings I share 100%, and you should too.

I don't know if you watched the video or not, but it was about the prisoners of abu ghraib. They had interviews and discussed what they were put through. Any human being, muslim or not, should feel compassion for what these brothers went through. Us being muslim means that we should feel pain and should be displeased with those who hurt our brothers and sisters in our religion. As we know from the hadeeth which I am unable to locate now but it is saheeh, the ummah is like one body. When one part feels pain, the whole of it feels pain.

Our brother justoneofmillion obviously feels this pain and has every right to do so. I think you should open your eyes and realize that no, hes not narrow minded, and he's certainly not ignorant. I don't think it's fair for you to make these accusations against him for helping bring knowledge of worldly affairs to this forum.

Brother you need to calm down. There is no justification to hate all Americans, It looks like you live in Germany which is not much different than America. All Americans are not like their rulers. There are many many good people in America. It is sad and very unfortunate that this great country is under the cluches of Lucifarians and criminals. Bit you don't need to worry about it, while they are killing Muslims like crazy they are also hurting their own people (Americans). You have no idea what they have done here and what they are planning to do. Allah always bring justice. Pharoes were doing equally bad stuff but then soon nobody even knew their language.
Do you know who was the first shaheedah in Islam? Sumayah (RA)! She was a slave of Abu Jahal and he killed her by stabing at her private part, An another slave was punished by putting hot burning coal on his back till his skin burned and fat under the skin start to melt and burn. I couldn't see the video because it was removed, but I can imagine it must be horrible. But akhi this is the begining of the trials we are about to go thru. Much more horrible things are yet to come. So you need to be patient and control your anger. Ask forgiveness from Allah and from our Muslims brothers and sisters you hurt by your comments. Of course I feel bad about what our troops are doing there in iraq . I got pissed when an american soldier threw a puppy off the cliff . I got pissed when an american soldier threw an iraqi orphan over a river and broke his arm and i got pissed over so many other stuff . But since im an american i know better that the soldiers who join the army are just a bunch of retards who got out of high school early . Now I wouldnt mine if justonemillion cursed the government and the troops . But somehow he also insulted muslim american citizens . According to his post he doesnt care about his american muslim brothers or something and the same goes for reverts?????? . So yea he has the right to be angry , he has the right to curse . But at least make it sound like he's cursing the government .

I know ....Ive seen those videos about the truth of 9/11 , and after watching those videos im conviced that 9/11 was an inside job and al qaeda doesnt exist . maybe exists but not responsible . Now what I posted over justonemillions thread was simply an analogy . Since terrorists is widely known to be arabs , I just decided to describe to him that if there are SOME arabs are terrorists does that mean all arabs are terrorists . The same goes when saying american soldiers are bad ( which most of them are ) does that mean all americans are bad . Thats what justonemillion thought .

I want you to know that I am also American. I was born and raised here and have never been out of the country, and I am a revert to Islam. That being said, I was not offended one bit by what was said by justoneofmillion. You said he somehow insulted muslim american citizens. I don't have what he said word for word since the thread has been removed, but I believe he said that he doesn't consider anyone with nationalistic pride to be his brother. I disagree with that statement as a whole, but I certainly do not like to see people with national pride. It's disgusting the way people divide themselves up into countries and then look down upon one another and think they're better because they were born in such and such a place. If you feel insulted by that statement then I advise you to take a more firm stance with regards to your views of america.

Islam way...please start with a salaam. Do not say you do not know....write complete sentences. It makes your responses more serious.
Please do not limit your life to what is mainstream. Find out who else is running for president. Dig deep into the issues. Contact CAIR and ask who they are endorsing..ask your imam...but do not fall into the trap that there are only two candidates running for president. I did not realize that the conventions were over and McCain and Obama had won the nominations.

I was offened that you would use the word retard to describe young men who joined the army. They do have low expectations fo themselves. They are often poor and know not. Think of what they come home to once they discover the truth. Many vets have become the strongest voices against the war...and it was a soilder who broke the silence and informed the world.

Do you happen to have a name for this video that has caused such outrage amongst the brothers and sisters that has resulted in such heated debate?

As for the US elections, as someone from Ireland I am somewhat sick of hearing about it, and that was only the nomiation for each party it wasn't even the election!!! I was hoping that someone would listen to Ron Paul as he seemed to speak with a lot of sense and thought, mainly regarding spending, budgets, military spending and ackwoledging actions overseas. Unfortunaltey he never had a chance as the Republicans seem to be very pro-War orientated and 9/11 obsessed. The video of Guilliani was very funny given how many times he mentioned 9/11 during one of his speaches, Family Guy parodied it very well. The reality is that Obama will win, McCain couldn't even beat Bush to the nomination in 2000 so it doesn't say much for a party to pick someone who came in second place 8 years ago. Obama will win because he has the same charm and charisma that Kennedy had back when he won, and with his colour he does have a wide appeal. Plus the US needs someone who can redo their severly dented PR worldwide.

I do agree with you about seeking knowledge, after all Allah commands us too. Salam.
