Why have they Killed me?

It’s so dark in here,
Oh, mommy where are you?
Please do answer me.
I beg you mommy don’t leave me in the dark.
You know I am scared.
Are you there, mom, mom…
I see the light mommy is it you?
Wow, how beautiful is that light,
I never saw it in my life.
Wait, its not you mommy
What is going on?
Please do not ignore me I thought you loved me.
I though you said I was your angel
Although, I’m seeing an angel now
Who I look nothing like.
Did they kill me mommy and why?
Im only two years of age
What crime have I committed so young
What did I do to the soldiers that upset them?
I am too young to kill and so little to die.
They couldn’t bear to see me smile.
They couldn’t bear to hear me laugh.
Oh, mommy please if they haven’t got to you please run away.
They might do to you what they couldn’t do to me.
They think by placing me here that I will suffer
NO, I am doing what they took away from me,
My smile and my laughter.

BY THE WAY I WROTE THIS POEM(its an original poem). SO I HOPE IT CAN SHOW EVERYONE A LITTLE SOMETHING OF WHAT MUSLIM CHILDREN IN IRAQ, PALESTINE AND EVERY OTHER MUSLIM COUNTRY AT WAR, FACE EACH AND EVERY DAY.
