You were my guide and I was your shadow

You always left me behind you,
and me,foolish one,I always followed your steps,
thinking that one day you'll have rewarded me too.
I was so blind that I denied the evidence.
You were my guide and I was your shadow;
I gave you all my confidence,
but you abused with you power over me,
claiming me to be your slave,and I surrended...
But not to you.
You caught my freedom for a moment,
you stole my thoughts bringing the mess into my existence.
My dear enemy,you were near to destroy my life,
but there's someOne Who knows the truth.
I had my failures,but in sh Allah I'll achieve the top;
So,my dear enemy,don't think you weren't good,
indeed,you're the best one with those
who want to lose
their freedom and their thoughts,as I did.​
