Those who speak of human rights should first ask for the human rights of Palestinians as their desperate situation is not hidden from the view of the world.

If anyone wants to raise concern about terrorism, they should first do so about the state sponsored terrorism of Israel which is threatening the peace of the whole world.

May the help of Allah be with our palestinian brothers and sisters.

it's amazing how so much of this is going on against the brothers and sisters in palestine; and none of their suffering is ever shown in the media.

i've always felt that the only way that we can really help the people there is by us muslims uniting and returning back to our deen.

:salam2: dear Sister Harb, i want to thank you for continually keeping the news of what is going on in Palestine available to us right here on tti. As brother nyerekareem mentioned, especially in the USA and somewhat in Europe, we see little to nothing of what is going on there :( This is really tragic and we do need to unite as a Muslim Ummah and help and protect our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Also, food for thought for those who can.... sponsor an orphan in Palestine or another Muslim country where our little brothers and sisters are suffering beyond belief. pay for a child's education or provide a lamb for a less fortunate family in our beloved Ummah for Eid. there are organizations in the USA and in Europe that are completely "legit" that do all this, for those who can, Insha Allah, it would be a beautiful thing :) Our Ummah may stay and continue to be in a state of dissaray for some time, Allah knows best, but as individuals, we know what we can do if we put the effort into it :)

Simple individuals can make a lot. Sadly to say, but first "broke Gaza siege" boats (SS FreeGaza and SS Liberty) were campaign of non-muslims and non-arabs. After them many arab/islamic countries are now sending they own charity ships to help our sisters and brothers to Palestine.

:shymuslima1: I am sister from Europe, not arab at all. I have made work for Palestine last 20 years, about 6 years of that I was christian, now returned to islam about 14 years ago. Most of my work is as spread information what is going on.

RNPS IMAGES OF THE YEAR 2008 An ambulance passes by the burning vehicle of Reuters cameraman Fadel Shana after he was killed in Gaza April 16, 2008. A Reuters cameraman was killed in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday in what appeared to be an Israeli military strike. Shana, a 23-year-old Palestinian, was covering violence in the enclave for the international news agency. At least two bystanders were also killed in an explosion after Shana stepped from his vehicle, apparently to film Israeli forces positioned several hundred metres (yards) away. Film from Shana's camera showed an Israeli tank stationed several hundred metres (yards) away opening fire. Some two seconds after the shot raises dust around the main gun barrel, the film goes blank -- apparently at the moment Shana was hit. Earlier, local residents had said the explosion appeared to have been caused by an air strike.
