Salaam Alaikum everyone
Please correct my transliteration spelling but I was wondering are we suppose to say this statment( the thread's title) before doing any action or just acts of worship.

For example, I keep a journal/diary and i would like to write this statement at the heading of each entry but since my journal is so personal I was hesitant if this is good or okay thing to do.

Don't want to fall into realm of biddah.

I think it would be ok. But Inshallah the other brothers and sisters will tell us if it is not.:hijabi: I was told any thing with Allah's name on it can not be thrown away or touch the floor.

typing add different mean because all of us have different accents and reading ways.You have to listen to Arabian utterance.There are many videos on yotube they read Quran and before start Ayahs they have to say that.Listen many times and work to say like them

You spelled it almost perfectly, there's an extra "a" that you added,

Bismiallah -> Should be Bismillah

and to be precise the definite article that follows it should be "ir" instead of "ar", if you want your Arabic to be proper :)

The prophet peace be upon him said, "Every action that is not started with the name of God is returned!" Thus, if your action is something for the sake of God, that is you wish it to ascend to God and be approved and rewarded, you ought to mention the name of God before you embark on it.

Wa alaikum salaam

Jazkallah Kharin.

will do

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

It is recomended to always say "Bismillah Ir-Rahman Ir-Raheem" before anything you say or do.. even when writing a journal/diary.

But you must make sure you dont throw it on the floor or take it with you to the bathroom. Or put it somewhere where it may be steped over with feets, or thrown in the trash.
And once you decide to get rid of it, You must cut the part where the names of Allah are written and burn it.
