Salaam alaikum.

I think I remember seeing this thread when I first registered..hm.

Took the test and I got, ISFP

Introverted: 100
Sensing: 50
Feeling: 12
Perceiving: 56

Oh dear, 100? That is one high number. I dont think I've seen anyone with a 100%-anything as i went through the thread.
Also, ISFPs are pretty rare. Think there were only two people of this type on here.=)

And i did go through the meaning behind the result thing, and i guess aside from the "parenthood"(didn't agree with them because i feel i am quite capable of disciplining my children)...most were quite alright?. And it also, uh..pointed out that an ESFJs and I would make a good couple. There was only 1 brother here with that and the rest were sisters..lol

Pretty....interesting.

yes it seems we ISFPs are pretty rare.....but im higher on FP..your highest on I..but yes pretty interesting

Assalaam walaikum,

Brothers and sisters.

Give me a couple of minutes and I will respond to everyone. I just woke up...they closed the schools down..due to the rain and flooding. I am trying to get the moss out of my ears...

Remember, I am an INFP...so I do things on my sense of time. Insha'Allah, I will respond with thought behind the words.

Will post later..COFFEE is calling me.

Assalaam walaikum,

Do not worry about the number of the score..if it is a one that is ok, too. You may want to retake the test.

The percentage just lets us know how close to the attribute we are. Lets take introvert. If you score a 1..that means you are not too introverted nor too extroverted. You enjoy the company of people as much as you like being alone. I am very introverted. I do very well in public speaking. I can lecture. I can sit and converse in a seminar. However, once I am done..I need solitude. I do not like crowds. It is not that I do not love people..I do...I just need a little more time to think, and I do that best alone. Make sense.

Seeking Allah's Mercy: ENFP: You would be an excellent teacher. You are extroverted. You get energy from others. You are caring and you feel the pain of others. You see the possibilities of extending dreams. You give hope to others. Make sense? Sometimes you can drive the practical people crazy. But you are happy.

uddim004:ISFJ,
11 1 12 33 ..You like to think. You are firm. When you believe you usually have very good evidence to back it up. You understand the need for rules and regulations. You realize the need for community Islam makes sense to you because it is so functional. There is a part of you that likes to dream..but you prefer the rational and sane world. Make sense?

sachin4islam: :ISFP try to read INFP and see what is more you.

sana2230..yes. You have a 89% for introverted. You like to think alone. You like the rational. You like the logical. You are a deep thinker.
I would love to come and drink a pepsi with you and blow soap bubbles and chase them.

Ahsen: ENTJ. You are the one they count on to do things. You are the practical one. The one that everyone loves and you do things. However you are the one who quietly understands. You are the one the men hang around.

If I have forgotten anyone please let me know or PM.

e are lucky that Protectors make up as much as ten percent the population, because their primary interest is in the safety and security of those they care about - their family, their circle of friends, their students, their patients, their boss, their fellow-workers, or their employees. Protectors have an extraordinary sense of loyalty and responsibility in their makeup, and seem fulfilled in the degree they can shield others from the dirt and dangers of the world. Speculating and experimenting do not intrigue Protectors, who prefer to make do with time-honored and time-tested products and procedures rather than change to new. At work Protectors are seldom happy in situations where the rules are constantly changing, or where long-established ways of doing things are not respected. For their part, Protectors value tradition, both in the culture and in their family. Protectors believe deeply in the stability of social ranking conferred by birth, titles, offices, and credentials. And they cherish family history and enjoy caring for family property, from houses to heirlooms.

Wanting to be of service to others, Protectors find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden, and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than any other type. They are not as outgoing and talkative as the Provider Guardians [ESFJs], and their shyness is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness, when in truth Protectors are warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need.

Their reserve ought really to be seen as an expression of their sincerity and seriousness of purpose. The most diligent of all the types, Protectors are willing to work long, hard hours quietly doing all the thankless jobs that others manage to avoid. Protectors are quite happy working alone; in fact, in positions of authority they may try to do everything themselves rather than direct others to get the job done. Thoroughness and frugality are also virtues for them. When Protectors undertake a task, they will complete it if humanly possible. They also know better than any other type the value of a dollar, and they abhor the squandering or misuse of money. To save, to put something aside against an unpredictable future, to prepare for emergencies-these are actions near and dear to the Protector's heart. For all these reasons, Protectors are frequently overworked, just as they are frequently misunderstood and undervalued. Their contributions, and also their economies, are often taken for granted, and they rarely get the gratitude they deserve.

Assalaam walaikum,

Please keep in mind all Knowledge comes from Allah. This was a simple tool for us to better define how we can go about doing good deeds. This is just a glimpse of how one interprets the social cues. It is a preference.

And the results do change over time.

The trouble with knowledge is now that you got it what are you going to do with it. The intention has to be good. It is a one-way street to Allah. And He gave us the Criterion.

Deep stuff.

Assalaam walaikum,

( hey, I answered the question posed by Brother Tariq..and I know I have the correct answer..I got knowledge for one who knows..Alhumdullila. check it out )

Sister rhasha ameena: Your iman is benefited because you can devote time to study your faith. The rules of Islam are easy to understand. It is simple for you.

kashif_nazeer: INTJ

Do you ever like to be around people or do they take all your energy away. You are a thinker.

Sometimes people might think that you are cold. No, you care about people very much. You just wish they would do better. You are a realist at times.
Let me ask this question, if I may, what is the spiritual dilemma you are facing right now? What are you seeking that has not manifested itself. I ask this as I read your responses. You are one of the very serious ones here. What is missing in what you are seeking. Make sense.

I ask because you scored a 1 on the J/P section. I need a little clarification.

Wa alykumassalaam,
Sister Aapa,
:jazaak: for your explanation.
I try to avoid crowds and am comfortable in a small group of people with which I am well acquainted, like my parents and some of my relatives.
I don't know if I understood your question correctly sister.I will try my best to answer inshaAllah.

My answer to your question is,all I am seeking is Allah's pleasure and a way to avoid the sins,of all the wishes that I have,my biggest wish is that I overcome the fear of death. That is the moment when one is dying,I have heard it is the biggest suffering inflicted and very painful.I wish to overcome this fear.Although ,Alhamdulillah, nowadays I am working on it.It usually happens at night that I feel things like death approaching me usually leads to panic attacks.I even created a thread long ago on this website about this paranoia. Now,I have accepted the fact that these thoughts are nothing except waswasa(whispering) of shaytaan and no matter how much I try I can't prevent death from me and it will be painful as it is for everybody.I just wish to die with iman, clinging to Allah and His deen rather than clinging to this world and all its possession in that moment of pain and agony and the biggest sufferring..
:jazaak: sister that you asked this question,it has troubled me since a long time and many nights I have spent without sleeping due to this fear. But Alhamdulillah ,I am trying my best.
:jazaak: for asking the question,I hope I answered you.

May Allah bless you and reward you immensely.Ameen.

You know why I love the fall ( autumn). The leaves turn the most vivid color ever. Now, I call that the kiss of rapture. The love for Allah. Isn't it gorgeous.

Change the way you look at it. Prepare for your death everyday. I do. Not major life-changing events but simple little things. One day I threw away my degrees. I just got tired of them collecting dust. So I got rid of them. It will make it easier for those that have to sort out my stuff.

And please start a post on death. We get so scared of what we know is going to happen. No kidding. I am going to die. Well what do you know.

You happen to be serious. And thank you. You are not alone. Let us find out how we are to prepare for death. Islam gives us answers to everything.

I used to be a bereavement counselor. I have seen with my eyes people at the moment of death. I have seen the joy on their faces.

The thing is, we all know we're going to die, but we're never prepared for it. Everyone at some point has to answer those questions: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? What happens to me after I die?

Most of us never find the answers to those questions. If we're lucky, we might answer one or two. But all of them? No way.

So how do we prepare for what we know is inevitable but we don't know when it will happen?

Walaikum assalaam Brother,

Ok..there is no good or bad. This is a mirror for us. This is a way we process information and feel the most comfortable in our roles in the world. As I posted before..this helps companies find the most effective ways of grouping people for productivity.

Now you know why I don't last long for institutions. Imagine me walking in the door.

You are an ISFP.

Like most members of this forum you have a tendency to be introverted. I have discovered people misunderstand this word. Let me explain. I am very introverted. But if you meet me I will talk you to death. When I am done. I am done. I love people. But, I need down time to regroup. I need alone time to think. I drink that cup of coffee and I am actively engaged in thinking. I take great pains to analyze everything. Introverts do not need many friends. I have very few. Does that make sense.

Sensing..you take the information from the world and you apply it in a logical manner. 2+2=4. You can collect data from the world. We need statistics. We need rules and regulations. We need schedules. You can fill out the form in detail. Details and duty. Common sense. You appreciate the methods that make life easier.

Feeling..this is the part of you that is compassionate. It is almost the spirituality. When you make salat it is for real. This is the part of you that Believes. It is innate. It is almost an acceptance.

Perceiving. The seeker. You look at every possibility for solutions. I have a very strong score in this attribute. It drives people crazy. Let me see if this makes sense: as you strive to ask for Allah to forgive you...you try to forgive others.

As to the death post.

I know. I get phone calls all the time asking if I have bought my cemetery plot yet. And no I haven't.

In the near future I plan on buying the janaza outfit.

We have to go back to what the Sahaba did. We know for starters we prepare by making each salat as if it were our last.

We need to own the words Allah let me die a Believer.

But, we need to study what a Believer does to prepare for death. Islam does not hide anything.

Please someone start a post on death and let us learn. Insha'Allah.

Wa 'alykumassalaam,
Dear sister,
Autumn is gorgeous indeed so are all the other season the beautiful creator created.
I do prepare for my death(I try at least),I am always conscious of the fact I might die any time. The thing is we are humans we tend to cling to things around us,people around us,so for some the death is a very painful experience, since they will depart from something they love added to the physical agony and pain experienced.
What I wish is not to be too attached to things and people around me but to Allah to whom we shall be returned. This my struggle,my fight everyday. It's a constant battle dear sister. That is why I also tend to be an introvert and a bit preoccupied with my thoughts.

The Qur'an teaches us to live between hope and fear.Prophet( :saw: ) told us to die in hope of Allah's Mercy and His forgiveness.

Death will not be painful ,I think, if we change our perception that we are departing from our beloved to the perception that we are going to meet our Beloved.I want that intensity in me that love of Allah that absolves us from the world so that sakaratul maut isn't as painful for me.Oh Allah grant me this.Ameen.

Can you share with us more about ho people felt when they were dying as you said you used to be bereavement counsellor ,how does it feel?
