Last but not the least!

Sword being Hanafi means either:

a) attributed to a person called Ahnaf bin Qays, a Muslim who lived in the prophetic era but never had the chance to meet the Prophet; it is said that he was the first to designed a sword in the manner he did, and it was this design that Prophet's sword was based on

b) an affiliation to Banu Hanifah, a tribe, reported to be famous for their sword-making expertise, or that somebody in that tribe made distinctive swords

Hammy, any comments?

how can you support your claim? how can you prove us Ahnaf bin Qays sword was the same like sword of our Prophet (saww)? and Banu Hanifah, is this really his views? were you present at their time?

wait a minute! you people doubt about the authentic Hadiths after the time of Prophet (saww) and now you are giving us quote (without ref) before or at the time of Him (saww)... wow... such a laughable stuff!!!

Oh Yeah! i never asked about that Hadith... b'cuz your "Messiah" was locked up in his question he came up with a new strategy of asking the meaning of "Hanif" and other blind mod supported him and when i asked about Ibrahim (as) and the Shi'a's, look what your "Messiah" is coming up with.... without your (mods) support he is nothing and this is the fact and if you are really thinking that have a problem than why don't you remove the Ban from Aziboy, Abu Musab and Thauban... if you have the guts and glory! you guys shuold admit that you do not have the guts to accept challenge nor compete single handedly... just b'cuz you are mods, you are saved... and that's the "FACT"!
why don't you stand on your own? why you need help from others always? common.. be a man...!!!

so why you read the Kalima of Prophet (saww)? read the kalima of your scholars than? and when will you follow Allah's Messenger (saww)?? after your death? i apologized for my mistake but you guys are really stubborn to admit your mistakes and feel sorry, just another act of Hypocrites! not your fault!

that's right! i've not done PhD in English like you.... pal! this strategy doesn't suits you... even yours (mods) "Messiah" harris got caught up and failed again and again... so please... will you come up with your own stuff... well not your fault b'cuz you are a blind follower... keep it up!

I think your place is in the circus, not TTI. Thank you for making us all laugh so hard we're getting the cramps.

You're refuting us for a meaning we provided for the sword being Hanafi, yet you don't know the meaning yourself!

Hammy you have resorted to cheap sophistry its time you should get off the grit.

You were provided with numerous hadeeth references given to you in ARABIC but since you only rely on English as you don't know Arabic you will never agree.

Good luck with your takhreej in english.

Even your Ahle hadees guys would be ashamed of you for you ignorance.

so do you know why Ibrahim (as) is called as Hanif and why you never answered about Shia'a's?

Alright, show's over folks. This was fast becoming a joke, if it wasn't already and it's really not worth anyone's time and efforts.

Hammy has been banned for the following reasons outlined:

1. This thread and others are only increasing him in his attitude. Whether he likes to admit it or not, his lack of understanding in the English language is proving to be a huge impediment in understanding what we are trying to say. This is not a matter of being rude, it's just an honest statement - and fact is, he doesnt have to have a PhD, that's not what we're saying.

I know other brothers and sisters here who have English as second languages and understand very well what is being said, but he's clearly either not trying to do so, or just isn't capable of doing so. And so to save himself from further harm, he's being removed.

I pray that maybe one day he'll be able to understand by some other means.

2. He has thus far called at least 3 of our members hypocrites according to his own desires. This was not his first time doing so, and in Islam, it's no small thing to call another person a hypocrite. This is quite following in line with how some of the other members were banned, such as for implying takfeer on other members. How is it possible to hold a rational discussion with someone who insists on not responding to points or admitting their mistakes but instead relies on calling names not substantiated.

I admit hammy has been called out for his ignorance and arrogance, based on the way he has been acting and behaving - but to simply call out names such as hypocrite and his emotional banter, it's not worthy of discussion.

3. Accusing brother Harris Hammam of being a Messiah of ours. I mean really ... what an unsubstantiated cheap shot.

4. He thinks he's some strange hero come to bring correct debate onto the forum, and save everyone from Bid'ah, when the truth is, him and his lot of friends caused nothing but havoc and trouble. Anyone can see that in the periods that they were gone, the whole thread settled down. False beliefs, and false bravado are huge flaws. And now he's trying to antagonize the "Mods" he accuses of hypocrisy and others to un-ban him and his friends because he accuses us of being 'afraid' of being confronted, when truth is, their 'debates' had NO substance.

Read them - what scholars have he and his friends quoted? And the utter degrading of scholars when they act like they don't need them, when it's on the backs of theses scholars that Islam was carried this far. And even having the guts to act like they can investigate when lacking even basic Arabic, as is evidenced. Allahu'l Musta'an

5. Furthermore, his status on this site is dubious. I asked him publicly in this thread about if he had a second account or not, he decided to PM me neither confirming nor denying, nor did he give a straight answer when put on the spot in question about it.

He came back just when the others were banned after saying he wouldn't, and then has begun a lobbying campaign. That's not how things work. Moderation questions are kept private, yet he has failed to address concerns privately and is now just heading into public lobbying.

I was going to delete Hammy's posts. But then I decided not to. I believe that although it's dirty and messy and contrary to TTI standards, now everything is laid out there. What's been said to him, and what he's said in return. I've deleted a few posts because he included more cheap shots in there, but I fear this may give the false impression that in all, he was conducting himself better than it was.

And lastly, he's been removed because I think it's bringing out the worst in others. His attitude and manner of address, coupled with lack of base respect. I've also found at times, that replying to him has been frustrating and difficult, especially when after trying to be civil all I received back was accusations, and this has been a trend. Diverting the topic and stirring up fitnah, and sometimes it's hard to judge the best way to deal with it. So forgive me as well for any shortcomings in the matter, regarding myself or my words.

Generally it's not TTI policy to bring banning reasons public unless necessary. But I felt it warranted in this case because our Moderation has numerously been brought into question by all of these members, and I don't want others to feel that there may be some legitimacy there.

If there are any questions or other concerns in this regard, feel free to send me a VM (my PM box is a little full at the moment) and I'll try to reply accordingly insha'Allah.

Haneef means turning away from Shirk to Allah alone.

Shi`ah in the Quran means 'group'.

These are the answers to your really tough questions.

But know you'll be wondering 'what is my Daleel'. A vicious cycle.

assalamu alaykum,

The moderators have been very courteous towards Hammy and others. I normally ban people for being incredulous to the Quran and Sunnah and creating fitnah / argumentation. You may think it arrogant, think whatever you wish, but that is how i roll. In the past, threads would never even have reached to such "heights" as they do now, lol. The website was never made for debates, we had a lot on our hands in the past, simply with the non-Muslims who would attack the site.

I would appreciate if people would not make new accounts after they are banned. When you register on the site, you do so under trust. We are Muslims, and this site is like a "home" where we have rules and welcome people to stay accordingly. What can I say, except please get on with your lives. *rolls eyes*.

Also, if any person does have a grievance with the way the site is managed or the content here, rather than discussing between yourselves or elsewhere, bring it to our attention via email, preferably to me, the site admin. Jazakumullahu khayran.
