The religion I follow is a hijab commandment, your belief you follow is not, not much more I can say. Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala gave us the best words and commandments and way of life to follow. Now I do apologize I must close this discussion as is study time ... Allahu Akbar

Assalamu 'alaykum,

Wearing hijab, and wearing it correctly, is a struggle for so many Muslim sisters today considering the evil man-dominated fashion industries and their attempts to degrade women. So Sister Fathima Amenda, masha'Allaah! May Allaah reward you and grant you the best of this dunya and the best of the akhira. Make duaa for me too, I've ordered my first abaya online and I'm waiting for it :)

Walikum asalamu warahmatullahi wabarakahu Mash'Allah, yes I will make dua for you. I only found it difficult to learn how to do 'fashion' hijab, when I learned all it took was a sqaure hijab tie it under the chin Suban'Allah, I love my hijab! May Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala make all your efforts be with ease. Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala rewarded me by forgiving my sins and allowing me to read the Qur'an, know the life of the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam and begin the right way to worship and the right way of Life to live with dignity. JazakiAllah Khairan

Calm down, bro.

Thanks for sharing the video!!

This how they have divided us into 73 sects. They tell us verbally and we assume its correct. Secondly, Hadees he quoted was from Abu Dawood, termed Dhaif by Bukahri.Quran is very clear in his explanation, thats why its important to read and understand it properly. Secondly, when you will ask him to give you in writing what he said with proper reference, he will not do it:

Kha-Miim-Ra = cover/conceal/veil, become changed/altered from a former state/condition, mixed/mingled/incorporated/blended, intoxication/wine/grapes, make-up, any intoxicating thing that clouds/obscures the intellect, come upon secretly/unexpectedly, crowding of people, odour of perfume, women's head cover, man's turban, something fermented/matured?

'khumur' in 24:31 means 'head cover' is an extrapolation. If one takes its core meaning, it simply means 'cover/veil'.

...and let them draw/set/cast (walyadribna) their veils/covers (bikhumurihinna) over (AAala) their breasts/bosom (juyoobihinna)... [24:31]

Kha-Miim-Ra is in the plural in this verse.

aslam o aliakum wa rahmatuAllahi wa barakatuhu,

Sister, May Allah (swt) bless your deen and keep u steady on the path of Allah (swt) - ameen

I dont think you even need to defend yourself against someone who is coming up with things by himself, Hijab is something that is commanded by Allah (swt), pious mothers of the believers observed it, muslims have been observing it for 1400 years, and for 1400 years scholars who have deep knowledge of the religion and its sciences have agreed on it, inshAllah stay steady

like you said " Internet is a breeding ground for Shaitan " so inshAllah stay safe.

whosoever is your Islamic scholar!! He is wrong!! Hijab is not part of Religion!! If you can prove its a part of religion then we can discuss!! otherwise its a blind following like: Hindus, christians, Jews etc.

Please excuse my comparison of you yesterday on another thread, this was not good Islamic etiquette from me. Fi aman allah

i agree that hijab will surely change your life positively
but arab spring is something else
look at now what is happening in the arab world.
is it morally acceptable

Asalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakahu, Yes hijab is life changer for a woman who comes from a background of what is believed is democracy is really spiritual and psychologcial oppression. The Arab Springs was to me about releasing people from oppression but can also, in my opinion, be defined for an individual as much as it can for a religion or a country. Can you define the Arab Springs? Are you able to say when the Arab Springs has won what it set out to do? In Egypt it did but now there are still people who are not happy, so when does it end? When do the people know they've won? Does anyone in my society really care that the half naked model ads growing up, brainwashing of the entertainment and media business, women's lib etc that made me feel I had to be someone I'm not, sound like, "a form of government in which all eligible citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives" (democracy in other words). Suban'Allah the Arab Springs had me re-evaluate my lifestyle (my wrong use of technology and way of life I was programmed into) and brought me toward Islam and the right way of life and worship because what I recognized that day was what seemed I had spent my life reading about in the Bible. May Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala ease the burdens of our brothers and sisters and bring peace to the oppressed soon Insha'Allah

"‘Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!’” (4:75)

Do you believe the Arab Springs can bring happiness to everyone so that everyone agrees with no debate? I do not claim to know what is like to live in Arab countries, but please know oppression comes in many forms

BISMILLAH IRA RAHMAN IR RAHIM
HADITH QUDSI 38:On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah created Paradise and Hell-fire, He sent Gabriel to Paradise, saying: 'Look at it and at what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants.'" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "So he came to it and looked at it and at what Allah had prepared therein for its inhabitants." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "So he returned to Him and said: 'By your glory, no one hears of it without entering it.' So He ordered that it be encompassed by forms of hardship, and He said: 'Return to it and look at what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants.'" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "So he returned to it and found that it was encompassed by forms of hardship (1). Then he returned to Him and said: 'By Your glory, I fear that no one will enter it.' He said: 'Go to Hell-fire and look at it and what I have prepared therein for its inhabitants;' and he found that it was in layers, one above the other. Then he returned to Him and said: 'By Your glory, no one who hears of it will enter it.' So He ordered that it be encompassed by lusts. Then He said: 'Return to it.' And he returned to it and said: 'By Your glory, I am frightened that no one will escape from entering it.' [At-Tirmidhi, who said that it was a good and sound Hadith (also by Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i).]

110. an-Nasr: The Help

1 When Allah's succour and the triumph cometh

2 And thou seest mankind entering the religion of Allah in troops,

3 Then hymn the praises of thy Lord, and seek forgiveness of Him. Lo! He is ever ready to show mercy.

Assalamu alaikim wa rahmatuh Allah wa barakatuh:

Dear sister I agree with you, higab is liberation of souls. Shaitan is enslaving modern women to lusts and vein desires. When a muslem woman wears higab to please Allah subhanahu wa taala she is defeating shaitan and promoting purity and modesty. It is a beautiful happy feeling when I cover myself before going out responding to a noble call from my creator.
