In this day and age the majority of us use a computer either at home or at work. We are having to use passwords at almost every web site that we use so it will be interesting to find out how many passwords one possesses. I wonder if it's possible to use only one password for all of these sessions...

The more technology grows the more your online accounts are at risk because hackers too grow up along with the technology.
When you have a single password for all the online logins ,your privacy can be violated with no efforts.
As a general idea no one encourages one to have the same password for all logins.
It's better to have different passwords for different accounts.

Asalaamu Alaikkum

You are absolutely right but there is nothing we can do against the criminals, we by ourselves cannot protect ourselves it is the technology that we use that we depend on for security.

Yes agreed. At work it was encouraged to change the passwords regularly and at other places the passwords would expire after a certain period of time, so in that case you have not choice but to change it.

wa alaykum salam, a lot. and it seems i keep forgetting them.

The crazy thing is, i forget a password, eventually get to reset it, and the new password i try to save is not saved because it is a password i used before! :19-angry-red:

The worst is having to do all those Captcha Codes!!

True story! I never get to understand them.
I remember most of my passwords, but I dunno why, I forget my bank account transaction password ALONE. o_O It is weird because that is the password I need the most.

Nearly every website has a different password, I have a system. I'm not explaining it though :SMILY286:

Ditto.

To others,
Develop a system on your own and add a completely random character in between to outsmart amateur hackers. (sadly you can't do much about pro hackers). Do yourself a favour, avoid saving your passwords in email account or cloud storage services.

I had that happen to me once, embarrassingly it happened to be a day when someone asked me to pay, and SubhanAllah what on earth happened to my memory that day, I will never know. I entered so many wrong PIN numbers, my account got disabled for a week and I had to drive home one hour in one direction, and another hour in the other to grab cash. And to think I use that PIN almost everyday ... Completely blank moment, unforgettable.

Wa 'alaykum salaam,

That was probably survival instinct ... I was bound to retreat. Though, the person with me that day likes to think I was getting myself out of paying ... Embarrassing to say the least.
