    I am returning.

I am going to take my shahada soon, but I intend to continue reading the Qu'ran anyway. I feel so happy that I am returning to Islam!

Can I make a new account?

I have reverted to Islam, and do not wish to continue using this account as I dislike the username (it isn't my name) and I wish to leave it behind me. If I can't, that's fine. I'll continue to post.

    I am returning.

A year ago, I joined Islam. I took Shahadah in the mosque, and was welcomed. However, after a while, I returned to atheism - I had not thought properly about my decisions and hadn't read enough of the Qu'ran. I read books such as Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion and thought it made sense. I was...

    Beginning my studies...

I'm currently at the sixth Sura. I must say that the Qu'ran is, so far, a wonderful book.

    Beginning my studies...

I've read the fifth sura.mI have a question. It says in this sura that Muslims are closer to Christians than Jews. Is this correct, or have I misinterpreted?

    Is this normal?

Hello, I just have a question. When I look at a mosque or at Arabic Qu'ranic calligraphy, which I don't understand, I feel a sense of peace and happiness. Is this normal? Do Muslims consider it a sign of Allah that He is guiding me?

    Beginning my studies...

I've begun reading the Qu'ran, I'm on the fourth Sura. I must say that it is a joy to read (I do know that the original Arabic is the only true Qu'ran, however). I have a question, as well. Do you need to read the Bible as well in order to understand the context of the Qu'ran (there are some...

    Beginning my studies...

I am going to study religion. For very long I have been a staunch atheist, but I feel I may have been somewhat closed minded. Also, I have this extreme urge to study Islam (I converted to it prematurely a year ago, only to change my mind). So, I intend to study religion and keep an open mind. I...

    Former Muslim convert here.

Well, I intend to begin reading the Qu'ran tonight. I will read it from start to finish. I will remain open minded. I apologise if my question about women annoyed anybody. It was not intentional. Also, if anybody would like to give me more information, please let me know through PM or messenger.

    Former Muslim convert here.

I'm very sorry that you feel that I am here to cause trouble, but that is not the case. I'm simply interested in Islam.

    Former Muslim convert here.

How did you know my name? Anyway, allow me to explain everything in detail. Last year, I came to this website, and after admiring much of it and reading some of the Qu'ran, I prematurely converted to Islam. However, I found that, after a while, I had some problems with it, and religion in...

I didn't make myself clear. I have read parts of the Qu'ran, but not all. Thanks for your answers.

    Former Muslim convert here.

Hello, my name is Jordan. I joined this forum in the past, but forgot my username and decided to use my middle name, Robert. I am a white male from the UK, and I have been a Muslim before, about a year ago. I visited the mosque, prayed, converted etc. But there were some things which bothered...

    Robert here

Hello, I am Robert. I joined this forum seeking information on Islam, and will shortly begin asking questions. For now, I'll introduce myself. I am an atheist who would like to have a Muslim friend who I can talk to regarding these matters. If anybody would like to become that friend, please PM...
