My Lord, I am at your doors"

No God but Allah

Mawlaai ( May Lord! )

My Lord, I am at your doors; stretching out my hands to You.

Who else I can resort to but You?

I wake up at the middle of night calling upon You,

and my whispering Du'a is wet of my tears.

In the light of your Face I seek refuge, while being in fear.

And whoever seeks refuge in You, will never be miserable.

Whatever I encounter in my life,

I am rather occupied by You than whatever happens to my body!

Your pleasure sweetens the bitterness of my days

And I can't bear the ease of life with Your anger.

Who else I have but You?

And who else but You can see my heart and hear its talk.

All beings are in Your hands….

O, my Lord, I call upon You to forgive my slip as You are the Most Generous

And let my good thinking of You intercede for the acceptance of my Du'a.

And have mercy on me while being in fear and hope.

Who else but You can be merciful for me??

My Lord, I am at your doors; stretching out my hands to You.

Who else I can resort to but You?
