These factors, that cause cancer, are clearly forbidden/discouraged in Islam (such as drinking, smoking, & obesity...), this discovery is not a break through but Muslims should be aware of these lifestyle habits that can be easily avoided.

oh yeah, i read this in newspaper recently.strange how come men consume less fruits & veg. than women. any particular reason.???

Aapa, it certainly is discouraged in Islam for a person to over-eat, unless they have a health condition that causes them to be ''obese''
